FE-Group Invest Plc.
FE-GROUP Invest Plc. is involved in a wide range of waste pre-treatment and recycling activities. Their main focus in waste management is the treatment and processing of batteries, electronics, and selectively collected paper and plastic waste. The special feature and advantage of plastic waste (mainly PET) treatment – primarily sorting – is that they can accept PET bottles from multiple collection methods and pre-treat and recycle the received material flow at the same site. In terms of plastic processing, their complex sorting system for plastic waste collected from households, which operates on an optical principle, is outstanding. After several years of development, the company has successfully achieved the use of secondary raw materials produced from recycled PET bottles as raw materials in the domestic mineral water industry.
Geoconstans Ltd.
Geoconstans Ltd. was established in 2008 to perform waste management tasks and has since grown to become one of the leading players in the recycling of rubber and plastic waste in Hungary. The company’s annual waste processing capacity exceeds 8,000 tons.
As a result of their waste management activities, they produce plastic and rubber raw materials. Some of the raw materials produced are sold for further processing, while others are used to manufacture the company’s own products. The raw materials produced from waste can be used in a wide range of applications. The company mainly produces outdoor and indoor sports field coverings and playground surfaces (artificial turf, rubber mats).
Holofon Plc.
Holofon Inc. was established for the purpose of recycling industrial and consumer thermoplastic waste, mainly packaging waste. The recycled secondary raw material processed in this way is an excellent raw material for plastic converters to manufacture finished products.
The company recycles plastics using environmentally friendly technology, the basic processes of which are (occasional post-sorting), shredding, grinding, homogenization, and granulation. Their raw materials are HDPE, LDPE, PP, and PS, depending on the types of waste received.
HWD Recycling Ltd.
HWD Recycling Ltd. was established to collect defective or used electronic products from both general public and public institutions, and then process them in accordance with environmental standards and requirements.
Inter-Metal Recycling Ltd.
Inter-Metal Ltd. is one of Hungary’s most significant and longest-established 100% Hungarian-owned groups of companies in the field of metal and electronic waste trading and processing. Palota Környezetvédelmi Ltd. and its predecessor have been serving their partners since 1986 in the field of environmental protection, with a focus on hazardous waste management.
Main activities:

- provision of collection containers, road transport of hazardous waste of various types and conditions
- physical (e.g., grinding/shredding, (re)packaging, dewatering) and chemical (e.g., cyanide removal, chromate reduction, neutralization, precipitation) pre-treatment of hazardous waste in-house or through subcontractors

As part of its main activities, PANDAN-ÖKO Ltd. manufactures products from pure and mixed plastic waste, primarily for environmental protection (water purification, air purification, cooling technology). TISZA – BÉRC Ltd. is a 100% Hungarian-owned company. Since its establishment, it has been developing successfully and dynamically, and currently has four sites.
The company’s main activity is the collection, treatment, and utilization of non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Its sites accept recyclable waste from both private individuals and businesses. Twice a year, they organize waste collection competitions in schools and kindergartens in Miskolc and the surrounding area, in which children can collect paper waste, PET bottles, and beverage cans. Nearly 100 schools join their collection campaigns each year.
